The female figure in Jane Austen's novels

At long last I'am able to write this topic. I hope this is ok, so I only wish good reading.

ok! I want to add something about Elizabeth: she's the heroine of "Pride and Prejudice" and represents a part of the author: she is intelliget and lively, she has a very strong character and spirit of independence. In fact nobody can impose her to do something and she hasn't fear of anybody. I think that Jane Austen was feminist and she tried to advance the process of emancipation of women.
